Editorial Policy

Last updated August 25, 2026

Accuracy and sourcing

We prefer primary documents, official notices, filings and direct statements. For actionable stories, we aim to show the responsible authority, an official source and the latest verification time. We do not treat unverified social posts or anonymous claims as confirmed facts.

Labels and independence

Labels such as Breaking, Developing, Important and Deadline describe editorial urgency, not commercial priority. We distinguish reporting, opinion or analysis, corrections, advertising, affiliate relationships and sponsored content. Advertisers do not receive approval rights over independent coverage or corrections.

Updates and corrections

When material facts change, we may update the story and its timestamp. When an earlier version contained a consequential factual error, we add a visible correction note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without the same prominence when they do not alter meaning.

Artificial intelligence, translation and synthetic media

We may use automation to assist with metadata, transcription, translation, summaries and production checks. Automated output does not become authoritative without editorial responsibility. We disclose material synthetic or manipulated media when it is relevant to understanding the content.
